• If we are taught to have expectations, we learn to be disappointed in life when these expectations aren’t met. Rather, if we live free of any expectations, open to whatever life presents to us, the rain and the sun, the hard and the soft, the tears and the laughter… then every little moment becomes a gift we come to deeply appreciate. Then and only then, nothing in our lives is ever again taken for granted and we learn to give and love without any conditions, open hearted without worrying about how much we need to receive.
